Well, this weekend’s announcement in The Sunday Times has certainly put a spring in our step as we start another busy week. Bristol is officially the best place to live in the UK and we are feeling very proud (and lucky) to be right at the heart of this ‘gert lush’ city.

Bristol came top of the list for its masses of culture, vibrant nightlife, diverse art, food and drinks scene and location close to seaside and scenery – all of which we take full advantage of. But it is the recognition of the thriving creative industry bubbling with talent that makes us most proud.

The judges pointed out that Bristol has plenty of ‘glamorous, creative, hi-tech and professional jobs’ showing that alongside the culture and lifestyle the city offers, Bristol is leading the way in innovation and creativity through its business community.

Often heralded as being as exciting as London but providing a higher quality of living, Bristol’s creative sector has attracted a talented workforce over the years, which has led to the city now boasting an established and leading industry in TV, film and animation, PR, digital and publishing. We predict that Bristol’s latest accolade will lead to even greater things for our creative sector as it continues to grow and we are over the moon to be part of it!
