Speed has been shortlisted for Medium Agency of the Year at the National PRCA Awards 2017.

Judged by a panel of communications industry leaders, spanning agency, in-house, charity and public sector, the awards celebrate the best in public relations from across the UK. The hotly contested Medium-sized Agency of the Year category – open to any agency with fee incomes of £1m – £5m – is awarded based on financial performance, client growth, innovation and stand out campaign creative.

Speed made the shortlist after demonstrating financial growth from new client wins alongside growth of existing clients revenues  and following the success of high profile campaigns, including the ‘Tetra Tranquillity Tank’ at Old Street Station and the global launch of high performance oil DURON for Petro Canada.

The National PRCA Awards are the latest in a series of a string of award success for Speed throughout 2017, with the team winning Most Outstanding Multi-Sector PR Agency at the 2017 Global Excellence Awards, hosted by Corporate Vision Magazine last month. It also was named Large Consultancy of the year at the PRCA Dare awards for the South West in June and has been shortlisted for B2B PR agency for the B2B Marketing awards, being announced in November.

Kelly Pepworth, Managing Director at Speed, commented: “Making the shortlist of this highly competitive category is a fantastic achievement. It’s testament to the great work of our entire team in driving impact for the clients we work with, whether across our consumer and lifestyle, food and hospitality or business and corporate divisions.

“I’m massively proud of the great work we’ve delivered this year in partnership with our clients. The calibre of the team and their energy, creativity and determination to succeed makes for a very special agency.”

The winners will be announced at the PRCA National Awards ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane on November 7.
