Joining our Consumer & Lifestyle team, you’ll be immersed in a hardworking yet fun loving team who specialise in thinking big. We do more than bread and butter product placement; our specialism is delivering brilliantly creative campaigns that make a real difference for our clients, all underpinned with top-class client service.

About the role:

Account Managers play a key role in client, team and campaign management, from working with the senior agency team to develop campaign and programme proposals and being the first point of call day to day for clients, to managing junior teams and maximising media relationships to deliver outstanding results across national, print, online and broadcast media.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, demonstrating client management skills with the ability to confidently take client briefs and ask the right questions in a consultative way.
  • Delegating actions and managing junior team members, acting as the central lynchpin for the account team, ensuring the smooth delivery of programmes and campaigns.
  • Overseeing and encouraging team development and progression, challenging junior members to take on new responsibilities while supporting and guiding.
  • Undertaking regular media relations – leading by example with the junior team.
  • Regularly spotting and sharing news hijacking and general opportunities for clients and brands.
  • Applying smart, creative, lateral thinking across everything you do, incl. media relations and content development
  • Running, taking part in and actively contributing to team brainstorms across all team accounts.
  • Developing and managing teams to craft copy that’s engaging, persuasive and on brand, requiring minimal input from senior teams.
  • Managing the creation of compelling visual content e.g. imagery, videos, infographics etc.
  • Getting involved with new business pitches as and when required.
  • Working with the senior team to develop proposals that are strong, well-researched and creative that support client business objectives.
  • Presenting and ‘selling’ proposals and plans to clients with confidence, energy and conviction.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the social media landscape and new developments.

About you:

  • You will ideally have previous management experience with the ability to support and manage a team of brilliantly bright and superbly social Account Executives.
  • You are bright, creative, passionate and driven with the ability to talk confidently in external meetings.
  • You’re already an Account Manager, or a seasoned Senior Account Executive ready to make the next step. Alternatively, you’ll have in-house PR experience, working on consumer brands.
  • You’re able to come up with big, creative, content-led ideas that excite our clients.
  • You’re a newshound who can sniff out opportunities and stories on a daily basis.
  • You have an address book bursting with media contacts.
  • You love building strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients, and are experienced at being the first point of contact on a daily basis.
  • You’re an excellent communicator with a high level of written ability and superb attention to detail.
  • You can work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a bustling environment.
  • You can implement high quality PR and social campaigns from brief to evaluation and everything in between.
