Research suggests employees who start the day being active enjoy lower stress levels, are better decision makers, have more energy and, most importantly, are happier…
So with National Fitness Day on the horizon, there was no better time to give the team a ‘re-boot(camp)’ to see the benefits of an early morning workout on supporting healthy employees, team morale and business performance.
Rise and Shine
Our brave Speedsters donned their gym kit and trainers and took to The Downs to be put through their paces by our National Fitness Day instructors.
It wasn’t all hard work and sweat…we also took part in team drills. A combination of team work, friendly competition and a lot of laughs. A great way to start the day.
Fit and fuelled for the day
Following our bootcamp, we headed back to the office for a healthy breakfast of fruit, museli, yogurt and smoothies.
Fresh air, exercise, a healthy breakfast…the perfect formula to set us up for the day ahead.
Boast about the benefits
What kind of comms professionals would we be if we didn’t tell people about our fitness challenge? Fear not, Made in Bristol TV featured our bootcamp on the daily bulletin, interviewing our team about feeling more energised, focused, motivated and creative as a result. They even managed to capture some rather entertaining cut aways from our bootcamp experience!
So the question is…would we do it again?
Abso-boot-ly!
