Are you already an PR Account Executive looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and creative fast-growing team? Fancy getting some interesting, high-profile national clients on your books? If so, this opportunity could be for you….

As part of the central hub of the account team, you will provide support managing campaigns and clients day-to-day. You’ll be coming up with creative story angles, engaging national, trade and regional journalists, consulting with the client on media opportunities and developing you own consulting skills and strategic thinking working with an account manager.

You’ll have plenty of support from the senior team and lots of opportunities for training, and to develop your own particular skills and interests. By necessity, we’re a fluid team, which means you’ll get exposure to all elements of the running of our Business and Corporate clients, which come from a range of sectors including professional services, automotive, manufacturing and education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with account teams to deliver client projects, campaigns and programmes from initial brief, through to drafting content, media relations and campaign evaluation working with your account manager
  • Independently manage and deliver small-scale client projects from start to finish, with minimal input from Account Managers and Account Directors
  • Start to build and maintain strong media relationships that help us to deliver for clients.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the client’s business and the sector in which they operate to ensure that all PR initiatives are relevant and competitive
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for the client on day to day matters
  • Providing general administrative support to include: typing client correspondence, internal memos, filing, preparing presentation documents and meeting notes
  • Writing press releases under the guidance of a PR Account Manager.

You’ll have some experience of working in a PR consultancy or an in-house PR team and you’ll have a growing understanding of the business-to-business sector. You’ll be a strong writer and communicator with the ability to develop close professional relationships with clients and colleagues. You’ll be ambitious and proactive with excellent organisational skills, and you will relish the opportunity to work in a fun, creative agency environment.
