Celtic Manor Resort needed to excite existing and new customers to 5-star Hunter Lodge family break packages.
We partnered with celebrities whose emotive resonance and reach among the audience made them the perfect candidates (on a non-paid basis). This included Lydia Bright, podcast host and former star of TOWIE, and Sam and Billie Faiers, stars of ITV’s hit reality show Mummy Diaries. We created a host of content to celebrate Lydia’s baby shower and arranged for the season finale of the Mummy Diaries to be filmed at the resort.
By the time the show aired, we’d secured press coverage across key consumer titles, implemented a comprehensive PPC campaign, and booked display ads that would appear alongside coverage to shorten the customer journey to the website.
It was awarded the PRCA’s Digital & Social Campaign of the Year. Celtic Manor’s social followers more than doubled, they saw a 522% spike in landing page traffic and – most importantly – a 379% increase in Lodge bookings.
