Haven wanted to focus on off-peak audiences and families with pooches were identified as prime targets. Haven needed a campaign that would drive awareness with this audience, who might not have ever considered a Haven holiday.

It is well established about how much humans need a break to recharge but what about their beloved dogs? Our research revealed that a break away by the coast is just as vital for our dogs’ mental and physical health as it is for humans. Working with dog behaviourist Leon Towers and canine influencers Hugo and Huxley, we captured data via a Fitbark to prove that sea air and sandy paws are truly crucial for a dog’s wellbeing.

We landed the front page of the Daily Star along with a host of other national and regional outlets leading to a spike in online search.
